Assessment of scientific events
As a member association of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), KEFEA is responsible for establishing adequate procedures for ensuring that EFPIA member companies (regardless of whether they are KEFEA members) comply with the requirements of the KEFEA Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct seeks to ensure that pharmaceutical companies conduct promotion and interactions with prescribers in a truthful manner, avoiding deceptive practices and potential conflicts of interest with healthcare professionals, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. To that end, KEFEA commits to providing pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations with guidance regarding scientific or professional meetings, congresses, conferences, symposia, and other similar events and the hospitality extended in connection with such events.
